Seems like an odd thing to want to insure but with the PBR getting so popular the prices of bulls are sky rocketing. When a prize winner goes for 90k the owner is sure to want to insure it. Standard live stock insurance covers some basic causes of death (including death from wild animals – when was the last time wolves attacked a bull in Colorado). Equine mortality (horse insurance) has been around for a while and we were able to get one of the horse insurance companies to start insuring bulls on a “all perils” basis. Give us a call!
